Instagram course: Reset and Recharge

If you’re not sure where to take your Instagram next, I can help! In my first video course - ‘Reset and Recharge’, I’ll be guiding you through all the steps you need so you can give your Instagram account a refresh.

I want to make sure you’re prioritising the time you spend on Instagram, so we’ll be looking at your channel’s page, your audience, your content and together, we’ll build you a routine so you’re not just posting consistently, but strategically too.

Before we get started, I wanted to introduce myself properly

Hi, I’m Laura! Over the last eleven years I’ve worked with major brands, creators of all sizes and small businesses to support them with their social media strategy.

I knew how hard Instagram can be: balancing your time, creating your posts and running your account.

I wanted to create a course that will give your account a refresh, giving you a step by step plan to follow. I’m a data girl through and through (so you can bet we’ll be looking at that!) and by using all the information Instagram gives us, we’ll make sure you’re prioritising where you spend your time online.

What’s included in the course?

Six modules

I wanted to make sure ‘Reset and Recharge’ was manageable for you around your busy schedule, so I’ve broken up each module into shorter, bitesize videos that you can watch at your own pace.

Each video is between 5 - 20 minutes long and the course as a whole is just under three hours. It’s jam packed full of advice that I know will help your account, so I’m really excited for you to run through it!

Tasks and worksheets

We want to get you thinking creatively, so I’ve included some mini tasks along the way.

They’re optional of course, but they’ll really help during the progress of the modules. There are also a couple of worksheets attached for you to use too, so you can use them as little nudges to keep up with what you’ve learnt.

The platform I’m hosting the course on: Teachable is very visual and user friendly too, so you’ll get into it right away.

What are we going to cover?

I’ve designed “Reset and Recharge” so it takes you through a step by step process - starting off with an Instagram audit (so we can see where your account is now) and finishing with an overview where we’ll break down your new Instagram plan.

  • An Instagram audit is like a check-up - it’s a way for us to see whether your channel is reaching its full potential.

    I break my audits up into three sections: your first impression, your content and your ‘followers journey’ - so we’ll be going into detail about all of those points.

  • In this module we’re going to be breaking down who makes up your audience (we want to make sure you know who they are in detail!)

    I’ll run you through the steps we should take to identify your audience and from there, we’ll then look at your content in detail.

  • In this module we’ll be running through your insights in detail so you can see exactly how your content is performing.

    I’m going to help you see what you’re doing well, what you could perhaps spend a little time on and how you can incorporate looking at your insights as a part of an easy-going Instagram routine.

  • There are different algorithms for each part of Instagram’s structure: the feed, Stories, Explore and reels.

    In this module I’ll be talking through how you can work with Instagram. Want more reach? There’s a way to post which increases your chances of that. Want to increase your engagement? We can post specifically for that too.

    This module will really get you thinking about why you’re posting.

  • Now we know how your account is performing, we’re going to look at setting your goals so you can increase your chances of reaching what you’re looking for.

  • And to wrap up the course, there’s a step by step plan at the end which brings everything together!

How much does it cost?

  • I designed Reset and Recharge so it’ll give anybody who’s looking to give their account a refresh a step by step guide to follow, so even those who work on social media full time can get a lot of value from this course.

    I’ve shared a mix of my methods and processes in this course, including how I forecast and map trends on my account - but everything is explained in a way which is approachable for creators, brands and businesses of a beginner level upwards.

    This course is for you if:

    • You know you could achieve more on Instagram and you’d find a plan - which will help give your account a refresh, helpful.

    • You could do with some help with your routine (with your goal setting, checking your insights, etc).

    • You want to use this resource as a way to ‘double check’ your plan.

    I would say this course isn’t for you if:

    • You’re new to Instagram. (I will be coming out with a beginners guide which will be better suited to you).

    • If you’re looking for help with how to put together posts and content creation as a whole, including what makes a “good post” (for posts, reels, Stories etc). This course doesn’t cover those topics.

    • You’re already confident in your routine, processes and strategy and you want specific advice about your account (a call would be better suited to you).

  • This course will not provide you with a full Instagram strategy but instead it’s what I’d call a “refresh”. It’s a guide that will help you to think strategically about your Instagram.

    A full Instagram strategy goes in to a lot of detail about your specific niche and purpose and as I won’t be working directly with you, this course doesn’t do that.

    If you’re looking for something which is highly specific to your account - I’ve got you! A strategy call sounds like it’d be perfect for you.

  • Reset and Recharge is a course that will get you thinking strategically about your Instagram.

    You won’t be posting ‘just to tick a box’ anymore, but to help you achieve your goals.
